"Sry" or "Sry: Apology Slider" (the "Service") is a comedy mobile app and accompanying website at sry.fyi that uses AI to generate over-the-top apology messages and accompanying audio for entertainment. We are the operators of Sry ("we," "us," or "our"). Reach us at hello@sry.fyi.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the Service. You do not acquire any ownership rights in the Service, the underlying software, our trademarks (including "Sry," the wordmark, and the persona character illustrations), or our prompts and persona configurations.
Sharing on social media is encouraged. You may share the apologies, images, and reels generated by the Service with friends or on social platforms, including from monetized creator accounts on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and similar, provided you are not:

We may change, suspend, or limit features, free usage limits, rate limits, models, voices, or availability at any time to manage costs, abuse, performance, or product changes.
We may use automated filters, model safety systems, provider-side moderation, or manual review of limited technical signals to block, refuse, or limit certain requests or outputs that may violate these Terms or create safety, legal, or abuse risks. The Service is opinionated about what it will and won't generate.
All apology text and audio is generated by AI models (currently OpenAI's GPT and TTS models). AI output may be:
You are responsible for reviewing any output before sharing it, and for deciding whether, when, and to whom it should be sent. To the extent the law permits, you may use and share outputs you generate from the Service for the personal and creator-monetized purposes described in section 2.
Payments, subscriptions, refunds, and billing for purchases made through the Apple App Store are handled by Apple under Apple's applicable terms. We do not see or store your full payment card details. Request refunds via reportaproblem.apple.com; we do not have the ability to issue refunds directly.
If you download the app through Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies in addition to these Terms, except where these Terms provide additional terms permitted by Apple.
The Sry name, "Sry: Apology Slider" name, the persona character illustrations, the website design, and the underlying software are our property. The persona names (Shakespeare, K-Drama Lead, Toxic Ex, Your Mother, Gym Bro, Corporate PR, Therapy Speak, Boomer Text) are creative descriptors and are not affiliated with or endorsed by any individual, work, or rights holder.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in any particular region.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with the Service, your use of generated outputs, or any inability to access the Service. Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD $5, whichever is greater.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms (particularly Section 4, Prohibited use), or for any reason we deem necessary to protect the Service or its users. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app.
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's home jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles. Apple's own terms govern all in-app purchases. Nothing in this section limits your rights as a consumer under your local law.
